Dear Friends,

Welcome to Silk Elephant Sculptures. Having browsed our web site, we hope you are impressed with the range and quality of fine art pieces in our collection. We pride ourselves in having selected only the choicest and most exquisite works of art from Asia’s finest craftsmen and artisans. To accomplish this we painstakingly search the length and breath of Asia. Our roaming curators Jack Hebner, Neil Giri, and Vasant Kumar are always out there on the road; whether it be in India, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, or Japan, they are always looking for that special piece for our collection.

The sculptures viewed in our Aesthetic Sculpture Gallery are the only one’s of their kind for sale here in the United States. In fact, some of our sculptures, such as the crystal and lapis lazuli Buddha, the silver elephant set, and the anatomically precise elephants in rose wood are the only sculptures of their kind in the world. We appraise our sculptures as more than just art, indeed we consider each piece a treasure in itself.

We would also like to inform our customers that Silk Elephant Sculptures is a regular contributor to Nature’s Guardian, an environmental awareness group based in Vermont with projects in Asia. A minimum of ten percent on all sales of sculptures of endangered species, such as the rosewood elephants, goes to Nature’s Guardian.
